Participation fee
- 1 to 3 persons 5,000 yen/group
- 4 to 9 persons 1,500 yen/person
- 10 persons or more 5,000 yen/group + 300 yen/person
(The fees vary depending on the purpose of use, such as corporate training, group applications, etc. Please feel free to consult us first.)
Healing lunch box
- A separate fee of 1,200 yen per person (tax included) will be charged if you wish to order a “healing lunch box.”
- If you wish to order an onigiri lunch box, a separate fee of 500 yen per person (tax included) will be charged.
- If you would like to order a boxed lunch, please contact us at least 10 days in advance.
- Please note that cancellations must be made 4 days prior to the day of the experience.

Introduction of therapy guides
Sunset/Osugi Guide
Parking lot at Wakasugi Temple (approx. 20 minutes by car from JR Sasaguri Station)
Distance: Approx 2 km.
This course takes visitors on a walk along a road paved with cedar and cypress chips in a broadleaf forest. We will also stop at Yamato no Osugi.
From Fukuoka: (1) Turn right at the “Clean Park Wakasugi Entrance” on Prefectural Route 607.
(2) Pass by Kabuto no Mori Park on the right, and further on, turn right at the sign for Mt. Wakasugi and Mt. Komeno.
(3) After driving about 20 minutes, or 7 km, you will arrive at the parking lot.
From Iizuka: (1) Turn left at the “Wakasugi trailhead” on Prefectural Route 607.
(2) After about 2 minutes or 1.3 km by car, you will see a sign for Mt. Wakasugi and Mt. Komeno, so turn left there.
(3) After about 20 minutes or 7 km by car, you will arrive at the parking lot.
Okuno-In Temple Guide
Parking lot at Wakasugi Worship Hall (approx. 20 minutes by car from JR Sasaguri Station)
Distance: Approx. 2 km.
This course will take you to Okuno-in Temple, known as the site of Kobo Daishi’s ascetic practice. Highlights of the area include huge cedar trees and the Hasami-iwa (Scissor Rock).
From Fukuoka: (1) Turn right at the “Clean Park Wakasugi Entrance” on Prefectural Route 607.
(2) Pass by Kabuto no Mori Park on the right, and further on, turn right at the sign for Mt. Wakasugi and Mt. Komeno.

Arata Highlands public restrooms (approx. 20 minutes by car from JR Sasaguri Station)
Distance: Approx. 1.8 km
This is the shortest guided course in terms of time and distance. You will ascend slowly along a cool path along a stream to see the Meoto Sugi cedar trees.
From Fukuoka: (1) Turn right at “Sanno Tenku Kaikan Mae” on National Route 201.
(2) It takes about 4 km or 15 minutes by car to reach the parking lot.
From Iizuka: (1) Turn left at “Sanno Tenku Kaikan Mae” on National Route 201.
(2) Drive about 4 km toward the Arata Highlands and arrive at the parking lot in about 15 minutes.
Hotoke-iwa Guide
Arata Highlands public restrooms (approx. 20 minutes by car from JR Sasaguri Station)
Distance: Approx. 1.8 km
This guided course starts from the Arata Highlands, follows the pilgrimage route to the Meoto Sugi and Hotoke-iwa, and then to the Wakasugi Worship Hall. *Please note that the meeting place and arrival point are different.
From Fukuoka: (1) Turn right at “Sanno Tenku Kaikan Mae” on National Route 201.
(2) It takes about 4 km or 15 minutes by car to reach the parking lot.
From Iizuka: (1) Turn left at “Sanno Tenku Kaikan Mae” on National Route 201.
(2) Drive about 4 km toward the Arata Highlands and arrive at the parking lot in about 15 minutes.
Sasaguri Kyushu University Forest Guide
Kyushu University Forest South Exit parking lot (approx. 10 minutes by car from JR Sasaguri Station)
Distance: Approx. 2 km
About 50 species of evergreen broad-leaved trees and 40 species of deciduous broad-leaved trees inhabit the area. This course includes a walk on the road around Kamata Pond.
From Fukuoka: (1) Turn left at “Wada Bridge” on National Route 201, and turn left after 50 m.
(2) After driving straight for 290 m, turn right toward an uphill slope on the right.
(3) Drive 570 m up the hill and you will find the south entrance on the right.
From Iizuka: (1) Turn right at “Mikage Bridge” on Prefectural Route 607, pass the “Wada Bridge” intersection, and turn left about 50 m after the intersection.
(2) After driving straight for 290 m, turn right toward an uphill slope on the right.
(3) Drive 570 m up the hill and you will find the south entrance on the right.
Jugei no Mori Guide
Jugei no Mori Park parking lot
Distance: Approx. 10.3 km.
The view from the Narufuchi Dam Lookout, which overlooks the town of Sasaguri, is spectacular.
From Fukuoka: (1) Turn left at “Kanade” on National Route 201.
(2) After driving about 3 km or 10 minutes, you will arrive at the parking lot.
From Iizuka: (1) Turn right at “Kanade” on National Route 201.
(2) After driving about 3 km or 10 minutes, you will arrive at the parking lot.
